Profiles In Fear: My Experiences With Panic Disorder Some of us were raised by mothers who kissed our boo boos. And some of us were raised by mothers who covered their eyes and said “Don’t show me! Don’t show me! Go get your father! If Daddy’s not home, go get the neighbor! If the neighbor’s not home, go flag down a stranger and ask them if they know how to make a tourniquet!” Yes, Panic Disorder runs in families, and my family has been thrice-blessed. It’s given us a lot to laugh and cry about, and me, a lot to write about. If you’re interested in using one of my essays about panic disorder in your publication, blog, or site, just email me.
